Proud Of My Son

I can't remember why I started this, but Wow, that was a while ago. I know I keep posting on facebook, stay tune I need to blog about this or that. I guess I will try to do so now.

So many things this past year has happen, Not sure where I should even start. I guess perhaps I will just work backwards from the most recent and then when I think of the other things I will then write about them.

For this blog we will go to this past May. My wonderful son wasn't do so well in trying to find life and what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. School wasn't going great for him either. My husband and I told him he needed to figure it out and do so quickly.

It was about June when I came home and he told me he was sitting on the porch watching the dogs and praying to God when his phone rang and it was a Navy recruiter. He told me that is what his future was going to be. I supported him, he went to see the recruiter and had to work really hard on loosing weight for the requirements along with studding for his A.S.V.A.B.

He did it! I gave him a date he had to have it done by and he DID IT! I am so happy for him. Now all we are waiting for is a contract. I am hoping that he will have one by the 1st of the year. I am also hoping he don't have to weight for ever to go to boot camp and A school.

I am so proud of him. Yes I am worried for him, as any mom would be. How-ever I am very very proud.

Now stay tune for another story that lead this day to be. In that story we will go back to when he was just born.
